Poppa's Orchids, Storytelling at Blossom

I had the honor to be invited to The Blossom, at St. John’s Episcopal church, Pleasantville, NY. Blossom is a unique day program for people with dementia and their caregivers. They integrate meditation, nature-based activities, ping pong, art, poetry, science, fitness, and learning.

I shared my story, called Poppa’s Orchids, which you can read now in the Nature-Inspired Writing section of this website. They were such a lovely group, whom I sat with to enjoy lunch, and I will be going back to enjoy more moments with them!
